What many may not know is I am a type 1 diabetic my everyday struggle was trying to keep my blood sugar from spiking after meals and dropping after correcting. I was experiencing 3am low blood sugars every night and it was exhausting. I knew I had to find something to get my eating on track. When I asked Amy about this challenge she was confident I was able to do it and I was going to love it! My first week I was shocked at just what this plan did to my blood sugar in the first time ever my monitor was experiencing straight lines, no spikes or lows. After going to my diabetic doctor yesterday she was so impressed my average blood sugar was the best it's ever been since I was diagnosed!
